HEAR: White Flight – Children of the Light
White Flight (both the artist and the album’s name) is the solo project of Justin Roelofs, long time musician and former singer/songwriter/guitarist for The Anniversary. It is an assembly of sounds, both electronic and vocal. Justin recorded the sounds shortly after returning from “an enlightening exploration of traditional medicinal and hallucinogenic plants in the jungle of Peru”. I quite like this genre of experimental or psychedelic rock. According to Urban Dictionary, hippies such as Justin believe in equality, love, and peace. They are anti-war and pro-choice. And these people are responsible for making the best music known to man. Can’t disagree with that.
Kinda reminds me of Ratatat.
